It was delightful to work with Mary. Her optimistic and realistic perspective helped me to set reasonable goals for refining my business around my life's passion, and then break the goals into smaller steps that I could attain. She assisted me in defining what I want from my work life, as well as supporting what I need for self-care, keeping in mind that I need to balance it with family and other obligations. Mary is compassionate and understanding. She provided a clear mirror for what is most important to me. I highly recommend her coaching services

It is hard to describe how much my children, my family, and I have benefited from Mary's coaching! I have been participating in one of her small groups for over a year (minus a summer break - and boy, did I notice the absence!). It is weekly inspiration and medicine for this difficult task of parenting. To be supported, understood, and encouraged by Mary and this particular group of moms has been vital to my growth as a mother. Thank you Mary for enriching the community with your practice.

This class came at the perfect time for me. I learned how important it is to take care of myself and set priorities as I create my ideal life. Now I feel more confident that I will spend my time on things that really matter to me. Mary offered wonderful insights, activities, and resources to keep the discussions and homework interesting and relevant. I would highly recommend working with Mary.
I wanted to take a moment to thank you for all that you have done to help me become the parent I want to be. Your guidance and wisdom has shown me another way of being with my children. I feel that I am more able to honor them, their gifts, their hearts, and embrace them fully! With a grateful heart, I thank you.

My sessions with Mary helped me identify the positive things about my family and my parenting that I hadn't really appreciated before working with her. Mary also gave me many simple, practical ways to improve my parenting and relationships within my family that really did help me connect with my children more deeply and kindly. Mary's conversational style is warm, respectful, and deeply encouraging, with a nice infusion of gentle humor. I would highly recommend Mary's coaching to any parent needing some guidance and support.
This was some of the most worthwhile time I've spent in all my years of "trying to be a good mom." As a coach, Mary has great insight and an on-the-mark ability to lead you on your own path to feeling good about your relationship with your kids. It was always a pleasure to work with Mary. I came out of our sessions eager to go home and get to it. Her wisdom and genuine, simple guidance helped me to feel positive about the challenges rather than overwhelmed and stuck.
I could use a weekly coaching session for the rest of my (parenting) life. I know the process was effective because today, like yesterday and last week, was more harmonious, more empathetic, more joyful in our house than ever. I feel as if I “get” my girls more, and that I respond to their needs, whims, outbreaks, pandemics more appropriately and in ways that assist them more fruitfully. This is the beauty of a trained, talented sounding board like Mary—prompting with questions, offering suggestions, putting real situations into a relational conversation that ultimately moves the action along and gets stuff unstuck. It would be foolish not to recommend this process to others.
I know parent coaching was effective because I felt so much better every time I got off the phone, because I found myself referring almost daily to “my awesome coach,” and because I knew that I was on track with what we had talked about. I also just generally felt more “heard” and focused as a parent and person. I love the model of coaching in general, but especially this particular coaching system. I have had two other coaches in the past and this was by FAR the best. I love the accountability of coaching, the goal always being referred back to, the lack of analysis, and the focus on personal responsibility, action, and vision.
The coaching process helped me implement some concrete changes in my home life as well as my way of interacting with my daughter who was having a very difficult time transitioning from an alternative school to a more traditional school. Mary was familiar with various teaching and learning styles and she helped me support my daughter more effectively in that transition. Mary reminded me of what I was doing right and what my family’s strengths are. I was so focused on our challenges; it helped immensely to recognize the positive aspects of our family life. Her affability made me feel relaxed, but I also appreciated her knowledge and experience.
I enjoyed the small group discussion for moms. Mary was very organized, had direction, and was able to steer us when we got off on tangents. I felt heard, supported, and encouraged to explore different ways of viewing situations. It was helpful to hear similar challenges from other parents. When we were done, I felt I had important take-aways, and tools that I can use not only in my parenting, but also in other areas of my life. Thanks!
